Veolia Environmental Services is experienced in collecting hazardous waste in various forms and packages. Large quantities of bulk streams or small containers of liquid and solid waste will be handled with professional attention during collection and transport.

Veolia Environmental Services offers a comprehensive hazardous waste collection services from generators using specific containers and vehicles. We also ensure compliance with all aspects of waste collection and transport regulations of the Waste Management Act.

Collections include:

  • Arm-roll truck collection with capacities ranging from 11 to 25 tons

  • Tank lorry collection with capacities ranging from 16.5 to 20 tons

  • Drummed and packaged waste collection

  • Repackaging service for dangerous waste; laboratory waste, strong acid waste, etc.


Pre-treatment

Following analysis of the contents of your hazardous waste, Veolia Environmental Services performs pre-treatment processing according to the waste properties, treatment methods and hazard level, for example, shredding hard packed waste for optimized incineration, consolidating packages of small-volume waste, and segregating liquid hazardous wastes by their calorific value.

Through this pre-treatment process we can:

  • Improve energy efficiency by classifying hazardous waste by calorific value.

  • Reduce air pollution by controlling gas emissions.

  • Save costs by extending the operating life of the incinerator.
