Not only has Veolia Environmental Services established an integrated waste management approach that is mutually beneficial to all parties, it has also expanded its response capacity by developing multi-service proposals. As a division of Veolia Environnement, we can satisfy all your environmental needs by working in synergy with our other divisions (environmental services, water, energy and transport).
Renault: a historic contract
The biggest contract Veolia Environment ever signed for non-core and administrative sites was a five-year contract with Renault in December 2006. It calls for Veolia to manage general services for all of Renault’s administrative and engineering sites located in the Paris region, which represents close to one million square meters where over 20,000 people work. In addition to the services provided by the Group’s Energy and Transport divisions, Veolia Environmental Services is responsible for cleaning, waste management, and maintaining green areas and buildings. This contract represents a new phase in the 15-year professional relationship between Veolia and Renault, particularly with respect to integrated waste management services at the car maker’s industrial sites.
PSA Peugeot Citroën chooses Veolia to provide 20 different services
Another large-scale multi-service partnership was established in the automobile industry with PSA Peugeot Citroën in France and Slovakia. At the Mulhouse site alone in eastern France, Veolia provides 20 different services, including the production and distribution of energy and fluids, water cycle management, cleaning, maintenance and integrated waste management.
Coordinated canvassing that pays off
Also in France, Veolia Energy and Veolia Environmental Services teamed up to make a joint service proposal to the Schneider Group for one of its sites in Grenoble, France. The services include heating, ventilation, air conditioning, maintenance, cleaning and waste management.
Another coordinated proposal was organized by the Environmental Services, Water and Energy divisions and proposed to the aircraft manufacturer EADS SOCATA, located in Tarbes. SOCATA chose Veolia to provide a combination of services divided into 18 packages. These services include energy and fluid distribution, building management, and user services. Veolia dispatched a permanent 20-person team to the Tarbes site, where over 1,000 employees work.
